This role would either suit candidates looking for their first post or those wishing to develop their management responsibilities as there is an allowance available for a suitably experienced candidate

We are seeking highly motivated and committed teachers who can teach all Key Stages to join our large, supportive and successful Science department. Graveney is an oversubscribed, co-educational school designated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and widely recognised as one of the top 100 state funded schools in the country.

Sciences are very popular at Graveney and consequently we have many students who continue studying science to A-level. There are currently over 150 students studying A-level Biology therefore you will be expected to teach at all key stages.

We have high expectations of our students with many aspiring to medicine or Oxbridge applications. At Key Stage 4, most students study separate sciences and staff only teach within their subject specialism.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to work in a supportive and energetic team. The successful candidate will need to have excellent subject knowledge, be an outstanding teacher who is keen to develop their practice and bring continued success to our students.

We would welcome applications from either NQT’s or experienced candidates who are looking for a specific responsibility within a Biology department.
