Teacher of Business Studies - Chestnut Grove Academy

The Role

Required for September 2020

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and well qualified Teacher of Business Studies to join our well-established Computing & Business Studies department. The ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 is essential and knowledge of Computer Science would also be advantageous.

Business BTEC is offered at Key Stage 4 and 5 and is very successful.

Chestnut Grove is a high performing, 11-18, multi-cultural school in Balham, South London. We have recently completed a multi-million pound building programme, which has provided staff and students with a modern building with further plans to expand the school, by 2021. Our motto is a ‘Creative Learning Community’, demonstrating a commitment to providing our students with an innovative and exciting curriculum.

This post is suitable for an NQT, for whom excellent support would be available.  As the lead partner in the Wandle Teaching School Alliance we are able to offer exceptional opportunities for professional development.
