We are seeking a committed, loyal and enthusiastic teacher of maths to join our very strong maths department. The department consists of 9 members of staff who all teach across the ability and age range. Over 68% pupils gained a Grade 4 and above in Maths for the 2018 examinations. Maths is hugely popular at KS5 with over a 100 taking these at AS/A2 level. The appointed candidate will teach KS3 - KS5 and across all ability ranges in a very supportive environment.
We have a high success rate of Learning Support Assistants embarking on QTS programmes.
Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with 1250 on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 370 students based in state of the art buildings with good transport links.
We are an Elite Sports College competing at national and international level in a range of sports. We have full time coaches for volleyball, judo and table tennis and fantastic sports facilities including a swimming pool and fitness studio. These facilities are extensively used by students and staff free of charge.
We have a Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and the Royal Marines working with us on site, and we have recently formed a Cricket Academy in partnership with Twenty20 Community Cricket.
