An inspiring individual is required from September 2025 to teach Music from Nursery to Year Six as an integral part of the school’s specialist PPA Cover provision (on Mondays and Tuesdays) and to lead the development of the subject across the school.
We are looking to appoint an energetic, creative and well-qualified teacher of Music. The post offers the opportunity to shape the teaching of Music at the school and the successful candidate will be expected to bring a clear vision for the future, whilst bringing enthusiasm, energy, and dynamism to the role.
St Mary’s CE Primary School is a successful and inclusive Church of England Primary School serving the local community. The school has a dedicated and well-resourced Music Room. You would be joining a friendly and hard working staff team, working in partnership with our supportive families and committed Governing Body to provide our enthusiastic and well-behaved children with high quality learning opportunities.
The Governors wish to appoint an outstanding teacher with the suitable experience. We are looking for a passionate and creative teacher who will make a significant contribution to our already outstanding school.

· The ability to teach across the EYFS, KS1 and KS2
· The ability to lead the development of Music across the school

All applicants will be required to complete the SDBE application form containing questions about their employment history and their suitability for the role. Names and addresses of two referees should also be supplied.

The interview will involve a tour of the school, interview and the requirement to teach a lesson.
