Required for April 2023, applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Music at Graveney is exceptional, with many families choosing the school because of the strength and outstanding reputation of the music department. Our students excel academically, and music is a popular choice at GCSE and A Level.

The music department plays a vital role in the life of the school and offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities with regular concerts throughout the year (averaging one performance a week). Several of our students attend junior music colleges or are members of the LSSO and other London youth music ensembles. Recent leavers have gone on to the Oxford University, Trinity Laban, Guildhall and the RNCM. Instrumental tuition is an essential contributor to the success of the department and is provided to nearly 450 students by a team of over 25 peripatetic teachers.

We are looking for an exceptional musician and outstanding classroom practitioner to join our team of three classroom teachers, two administrators and a music technician. You will teach at all three key stages and make a full contribution to our extra-curricular programme. Experience of teaching up to A Level Music and strong keyboard skills are highly desirable.

You will become part of a dynamic, fun and friendly team who have built up a reputation of high-quality music throughout the local community.
