We are looking for an exceptional musician and outstanding classroom practitioner to join our successful team of classroom teachers. With the opportunity to teach all three key stages, we are looking for someone with particular enthusiasm for KS3. You will also contribute to our busy extra-curricular programme. Experience of classroom teaching and leading ensembles is highly desirable, but we also welcome applications from strong musicians who may be looking for routes into teaching.

Music at Graveney is exceptional, and is a popular choice at KS4 and KS5 because of the strength and outstanding reputation of the department. Several students attend junior music colleges and are members of the LSSO and other London youth music ensembles. Recent leavers have gone on to study music at Oxford, Manchester and York universities, Trinity Laban, Guildhall and contemporary institutions. Instrumental tuition is an essential contributor to the success of the department and is provided to over 450 students by 25 peripatetic teachers.

We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified teachers.

The successful candidate will be paid in accordance with the national pay arrangements (UQT £24,254 - £35,081, MPS £34,502 - £44,756, spine point according to experience).
