The successful candidate will be an exceptional and committed teacher of PE, who will work within a supportive and highly successful department.  As a key member of the team, you will be expected to teach across the full range of age groups. Experience of exam teaching would be desirable, particularly Anatomy and Physiology at A level. The successful candidate would be expected to support and enhance our extra-curricular programme.   

Our PE Department is deemed to be ‘outstanding in terms of both academic and sporting success. It is therefore vital that applicants have a desire in both these areas.

Our standard loading factor is 22/26. Where timetables comprise less than 22 teaching periods (or the agreed number for TLR post holders), you may be required to cover other classes.
