The Role

Required for September 2020

We seek an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher to join our successful Philosophy, Beliefs and Ethics department and teach RS up to GCSE level and, possibly, AS. The subject is taught for an hour a week and the department performs well-above the national level.

Chestnut Grove is a high performing, 11-18, multi-cultural school in Balham, South London. We have recently completed a multi-million pound building programme which has provided staff and students with a modern building. There are plans to expand the school further by 2021. Our motto is a ‘Creative Learning Community’, demonstrating a commitment to providing our students with an innovative and exciting curriculum.

The Chestnut Grove curriculum provides a rigorous, knowledge-rich, transformational education, encapsulated through our PROUD values, which prepares our students to succeed at university and lead fulfilling lives.
