Required for September 2022 to join our large and highly successful department.  This appointment would suit an experienced, qualified teacher and has the opportunity for a departmental TLR for suitable candidate. Applications will also be considered from for ECT’s.

Science is an extremely successful and popular subject at Graveney. Results at Key Stage 4 (96% 9-4) are well above the national average with the majority of students entered for Separate Science GCSE. In addition there are over 110 students of Physics at Key Stage 5.

Unlike many other schools, at Graveney, Science teachers will only teach within their subject specialism from Year 9 upwards – this ensures that our pupils are constantly exposed to subject specific experts. The department employs a range of dynamic teaching styles and is committed to innovative curriculum development. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the full range of age and ability up to and including A-level.

Successful ECT applicants will be enrolled onto our ECT programme, designed to focus on subject specific pedagogy and delivered by our experienced staff.
