Our highly successful Social Science department is seeking to appoint one full time Teacher of Sociology, as well as having the scope for a further part-time Teacher of Psychology/Sociology. The ability to teach both subjects, across KS4 [Sociology] and KS5 [Sociology & Psychology] would be desirable. Sociology and Psychology are very popular subjects in our school, with a track record of excellent attainment. As a result, many of our students go on to pursue Social Science related degrees in higher education.

This role would suit enthusiastic teachers with excellent subject knowledge, who want to join an established and well-resourced department. Teamwork is an integral quality of our department. We would like to appoint a teacher who is organised, innovative in their teaching, and committed to collaboration.

The position would suit an experienced practitioner; however, we will consider applications from well-qualified NQTs.
