Teaching Assistant - Belleville Primary School

About Us

Monday to Friday, school term time

Support staff, Inner London pay scale, Grade 1, Spine point 2 (Annual full time salary £27,306, salary will be pro-rata for 39 weeks per year)

We are looking for great Teaching Assistants to join our team of education support staff.

Belleville is a large outstanding school in Wandsworth borough, south London. We have over 900 children on two sites close to Clapham Common. Belleville is part of the Quality First Education Trust, a successful multi-academy trust (MAT).

You will support our pupils to access learning, and provide general support to teachers in the management of resources, pupils and the classroom. Your work may include work with small groups or individual pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

We are looking for someone who:

    is committed and reliable;

    is positive, enthusiastic, flexible, helpful and friendly;

    has good literacy, numeracy, communication and IT skills;

    has some experience of supporting or working with children;

    is interested in education and child development;

    ideally has some experience of working in a primary school (not essential).
