Honeywell Infant School is a popular oversubscribed school situated between Wandsworth and Clapham Common graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. We are looking for a talented individual to join our friendly and supportive school.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience of working with children to join our excellent staff team. The successful candidate will assist the teacher in the management of the class, work with groups of children and may carry out interventions with individuals with specific needs. As well as class based duties, you will also be expected to support the children during lunchtimes and playtimes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be an expectation, together with the ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team. The post would provide perfect experience for individuals who are thinking of pursuing a career in teaching at a later date. If you are enthusiastic, energetic and want to make a difference to children’s learning we would like to hear from you. Qualifications in English and Maths are essential.
