Teaching Assistant (Medical Specialism) - Chesterton Primary School
The Role
31.25 hours per week, Temporary – 3 month contract (summer term)
Required for Immediate Start Immediate
The position would ideally suit someone who is calm and patient with the ability to inspire and motivate children. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential as well as the ability to work as part of a team. We would strongly welcome graduates looking to further their career in Education with a possibility of training to become a teacher. Experience of working with children with ASD is essential.
The chosen candidate must be compassionate and respectful as they will be expected to provide medical assistance and personal care on a daily basis. Training for manual handling, personal care and educational support will be provided once the candidate has been hired.
