The Role

10 Hours per week (5pm to 7pm Monday to Friday)

Term time only (43 weeks)

The Governors of St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking for an experienced cleaner and trustworthy person to lead our small team of 2 cleaners.

We are a friendly Primary School and we are looking for a person to join our cleaning team. We are looking for someone who is responsible, enthusiastic, reliable and able to meet the physical demands of the role. The successful applicant will be required to comply fully with Health and Safety guidelines and current Covid-19 procedures. The post will be subject to a probationary period.

We are looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in their work
• Is an excellent cleaner
• Ensures a first class service to all areas of the building as well as their own designated area
• Is flexible and approachable
• Can work as part of team or on own initiative

Duties will include:

• Emptying bins
• Cleaning allocated areas
• Washing tables
• Cleaning sinks and toilets
• Sweeping and vacuuming
• Team lead to 2 cleaners
• Key holder
• Lead main holiday deep cleans
