Team Manager (Edge of Care)

The Role

Would you like to work in a dynamic and creative service, that offers a multi-disciplinary approach to working with children, young people, and their families?

We are looking for a team manager for our Edge of Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead practitioners to work intensively with adolescents with their families, or care givers. The service sits within the Adolescent and Clinical Service, which meets the needs of adolescents on a continuum of need.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team manager, who is passionate to use evidence-based approaches to bring about change. You will understand the impact of trauma on children, how additional needs can impact risk management, and recognise the importance of community liaison.

About the team

Working for Wandsworth, you will have the opportunity to be part of an established service, which is innovative and dynamic. The service includes a Targeted Youth Service, Adolescent social work team, Evolve (contextual safeguarding team), social care CAMHS team, family therapy team and Youth Justice Service. There are several approaches used within the service including systemic practice, AMBIT, DDP, NVR, and EMDR.

About the role

Leading adolescent outreach workers, to work in collaboration with children, families, and carers. Leading on consultations with networks, to reduce risks of family and placement breakdowns. Leading on policy and practice innovation.
