Team Manager and Senior Practitioners

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Team Manager, and Senior Practitioners who are passionate about developing best practice for children and families. To further develop the strong leadership for our targeted family support team.

We are seeking an experienced manager, and experienced senior practitioners who can place children at the heart of their practice, who believe that the relationship with children and their families is crucial to their overall improved outcomes.

Our Goals and Vision

We are all about improving outcomes for children and families. Our approach is ‘Think Family, Think Community’ supporting children and their families within their community to reduce their needs escalating to statutory interventions. Working with the family’s strengths, building their resilience to help them face their challenges.

The Team

You will join an already highly skilled and experienced team of practitioners who are committed to ensuring that children and families reach their full potential. Working closely with colleagues in social care and our community partners to offer the best service to support vulnerable children and families.

The Role

The team manager will  be responsible for leading  the operational management of the Targeted Family Support team within the community, working closely with Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub(MASH),Referral and Assessment (RAS), and Children in Need(CIN) to ensure that we have the best service that keeps children and families supported in their community.

The Senior practitioners will support practice of frontline workers, make effective links with or partners in schools and the community.

We have four vacancies:

  • 1x Fulltime Team manager (Permanent)
  • 1x Fulltime Senior Practitioner (Permanent)
  • 2x Fulltime Senior Practitioners (Fixed term contract until nd March 2023

  • Interview Date: Week commencing 9th August 2021 – (Successful applicants will be invited to a short test followed by an interview)
