About the role
Work Match, Richmond and Wandsworth council’s jobs and skills brokerage is recruiting for a Trainee Administrator to add further resource to an already successful administration team.
As Trainee Administrator you will work in a small team that provides the first point of contact to Work Match services.
You will assist with managing resident referrals to the service including registering and managing personal information, you will support with recruitment initiatives to ensure that residents are best placed to secure jobs created through the investment, regeneration, and growth in the borough.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Minimum of 4 GSCE’s or equivalent (this must include A – D in Maths and English Language or equivalent)
Familiarity with data entry, scheduling, and general office operations is beneficial.
Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
IT Proficiency:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn other business-related software quickly.
Teamwork and Adaptability:
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while being adaptable and open to new learning experiences and responsibilities.
