Are you passionate about teaching art and design technology? Would you like to make a marked difference to our school community with a particular focus on improving the life chances and life choices of all of our children? If so, then we would welcome an application from interested, dedicated, highly skilled and enthusiastic candidates.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring Art teacher.
You must have recognised FE/HE/Trade/Skill Qualification in Art.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality lessons across the school and committed to providing a welcoming stimulating learning experience for all the children at Furzedown.
You will:
• Have experience working within a classroom/education setting
• Have knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum
• Have confidence working with children independently
• Be able to lead large group activities
• Be committed to inclusion and integration of children with additional support needs
You will also have:
• Flexibility, drive, determination and commitment to ensure the children at Furzedown have the best opportunities that they can
• A strong belief in inclusion and achievement for all children
