The Role
Hours: 44 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 20:30 – 7:30)
Working Pattern: Term Time Only - 39 Weeks per year

We are currently seeking to appoint a responsible, proactive and hard-working Coordinator to supervise waking nights at our residential provision.
As the coordinator, will be managing a team of waking night staff committed to providing high quality support to the children and young people within the residential unit throughout the night. The coordinator will be in charge of the Residential provision on shift so it is essential they are able to make calm, reasoned and balanced judgements and show strong leadership skills.
The postholder will also have experience of coordinating and managing shifts within a residential or similar setting and possesses previous experience working within a Children’s and Young People.
Our ideal candidate will either be experienced in working within children’s residential care or as a registered healthcare practitioner looking to work with disabled children and young people in a residential setting.
Candidates must possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or relevant professional qualifications) as a minimum. Candidates must also be willing to work towards their Level 5 Diploma Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or possess an equivalent qualification).
