Waking Night Support Worker - Linden Lodge School

The Role

 

£22,056 - £23,687 per annum (Scale 3/4 point 6 to 10) (Exact salary depending upon qualifications and experience) + Premium for Night Working
Term Time only (39 Weeks per year)
Required as soon as possible

Linden Lodge School is a day and weekly residential special school for children and young adults, many of whom are multi disabled with complex needs. The residential unit supports male and female pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities from the ages 10 to 19 years in their personal and social development throughout their school life.   

We require 2 Waking Night Support Workers to support pupils with their physical, intellectual, emotional and social well-being during night time hours. The role involves ensuring individual care needs are met (including administration of medication, essential observations and assistance with tasks like personal care) when students are resident overnight at Richley House.

NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (or a willingness to undertake this qualification) is an essential criteria for the role
