Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for visually-impaired children and young people aged 2 - 19 years. We are constantly building and growing our provision and an opportunity to join our highly motivated and skilled team as a Waking Night Support Worker has become available within our residential unit, Richley House
This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming young peoples’ lives, promoting independence and has a desire to develop their career in a Special School setting. You'll be working with a small team of colleagues committed to providing high quality support to the children and young people within the residential unit.

In our recent OFSTED of the residential department, Leadership and Management was judged “outstanding” (January 2019) where “leaders’ expert knowledge and steadfast commitment to children have inspired them to continue their own professional journeys”. We have an impressive three acre campus in Wimbledon offering fabulous indoor and outdoor innovative facilities to support teaching and learning.
NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (or a willingness to undertake this qualification) is an essential criteria for the role. Experience of working with pupils within a sensory- impairment and/ or complex learning and medical needs is an advantage.
