The Role

Wandsworth Council is recruiting Children’s Practitioners, Recovery Workers, Domestic Abuse Workers and Social Workers to join our Family Safeguarding Team.

Please join us on Tuesday 9th May 2023, from 6pm - 7.30pm for our open recruitment event where you will get to learn more about working for Wandsworth Children’s Services.

The speakers on the evening will be:

Deputy Director of Children's Services, Rasheed Pendry, who will speak about the vision and practice framework for Children’s Services
Principal Social Worker, Louise Jones, who will speak about professional development and career progression
Head of Family Safeguarding, Jo Ross, who will speak about the Family Safeguarding Service
Social Workers in our teams who will speak about working for Wandsworth
Our Children and Young people who will speak about what they expect from Social Workers in Wandsworth
Specialist workers in our Family Safeguarding Service who will speak about co-location in social work teams and benefits for families
