Y1 Class Teacher - Allfarthing Primary School
The Role
(Two terms maternity leave)
To start in January 2020
Are you looking to work in a forward thinking, supportive school?
One where children have a real desire to learn and an enthusiastic and respectful atmosphere exists between children and between adults and children.
Allfarthing is looking to appoint a class teacher for January 2020 to cover a Year 1 class for two terms until the end of the academic year.
We wish to appoint a committed class teacher, who is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of themselves and children. You will have good communication skills which will be utilised in developing positive partnerships with parents and carers.
We have a new Headteacher, Tom Holmes, who started in January 2017 and has previously worked in two outstanding schools.
Allfarthing is a successful school at the heart of the community, close to the centre of Wandsworth where:
• Everyone feels included and respected
• Expectations are high with pride in our achievements and those of others
• Health and happiness are nurtured
• A love of learning is encouraged and we are always striving to improve
The school has excellent transport links with Wandsworth Town, Clapham Junction and Earlsfield mainline stations easily accessible and on-site parking.
We welcome applications from NQT’s or teachers with experience.
All new staff would be assigned a mentor and have a thorough induction process.
Visits are very much encouraged. Headteacher tours Wednesday 25th September at 2.30pm or Thursday 26th September at 9.15am, other times may be available.
