Achievement Officer (DLC) - St Francis Xavier 6th Form College

Achievement Officer (DLC)
Start date: as soon as possible
Fixed term initially until 5th July 2019

We have a vacancy for an Achievement Officer to support students in their learning by coordinating student referrals to the Directed Learning Centre.

Applicants must have qualifications to at least A Level or equivalent, with English and Mathematics GCSE at grade A - C. Training or experience of working with young people aged 16-19 from diverse cultural backgrounds in an educational or similar setting would be an advantage.

You must have a basic understanding of learning strategies and strong organisational skills.

The post is 25 hours per week over 5 days, term time only (38 weeks per year).  There can be some flexibility about the working pattern by negotiation.

Annual salary £26,292
(£16,073 pro rata for the hours stated, cost of living increase pending.)
