Area Housing Manager
The Role
Our housing management division has a reputation for high quality and innovative services efficiently provided to our leaseholders and tenants. A vacancy has arisen for an area housing manager, a key post within the housing management service.
Based in Wandsworth you will be responsible for the provision of an effective housing management service to approximately 7000 tenanted and leasehold properties.
Managing a multi-disciplinary team of 23 members of staff you will provide a range of housing management services including repairs and maintenance, tenancy and leasehold management, anti-social behaviour and resident participation. The role requires a significant amount of contact with elected members and the ability to develop positive working relationships cannot be over stated.
You will need strong management skills, experience of dealing with complex housing management issues and manage budgets and a good knowledge of housing legislation.
