Job Title: BUSINESS INFORMATION OFFICER
Salary Range: £32,841 - £42,888 per annum
Fixed term (12 months) - Full Time (36 hours)
Location: Wandsworth Town Hall & Remote Working
We have a vacancy in our Rent Collection Service and are looking for a capable and ambitious individual to join Richmond and Wandsworth Council’s Better Service Partnership. You will be a team player, articulate and organised and help play a central role in achieving positive outcomes for our tenants.
The Rent Collection Service (RCS) is responsible for collecting rent from all tenants of residential and non-residential properties such as garages and store sheds. You will be joining a high performing and friendly team that support each other to make sure we provide the very best services to our tenants.
About the role:
This is an interesting and varied role that includes the following:
- You will be required to provide an effective IT Application Support for various applications including Housing Management system and telephony
- As part of your role, you will be implementing upgrades and developing new automation
- Data analytics and management information to aid efficient service delivery and appropriate income maximisation
- You will provide Technical Training and development needs of the service
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc). Good knowledge of services, benefits and support available to applicants experiencing rent arrears and other debt issues.
Fully aware of Council’s duties and responsibilities arising from Safeguarding, Data Protection Act, Health and Safety, Information Technology and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Experience of managing a varied workload and working to deadlines.
Experience of producing reports.
Experience of analysing data.
Excellent literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
Ability to organise day-to-day work and manage conflicting priorities with little supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders by phone, email, letter and in person.
