Casual Electronic Note-takers - Deaf First - Oak Lodge School
The Role
£14 - £24 per hour - work available now
Do you want to help deaf adults develop a skill and career? Do you enjoy working with young people. Are you enthusiastic? Can you motivate students? We require Note-taker’s to enable deaf students to access, as fully as possible, the curriculum and life in mainstream college. The successful candidate will need to present information in a form accessible to the student. The Note-taker will be required to take notes in a clear and logical sequence on behalf of a deaf student and pass on the information provided by the tutor/lecturer or other students in the class.
Note-taker’s will need to use their specialist note-taking skills and experience to support students in a College setting and meet the students communication needs in note-taking when and where appropriate.
