The Role

South West Middlesex Crematorium provides exceptionally high standard of service to the community and has undergone a period of transformation. Due to the current Manager’s retirement, The Board is looking for a Crematorium Manager and Registrar to continue to move their vision forward in providing a first-class service to to our bereaved communities, families and visitors
South West Middlesex is a self- financing organisation and the Board is made up of Members from London Borough of Hounslow; London Borough of Ealing; London Borough of Hillingdon; London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and Spelthorne Borough Council.
The successful candidate will provide the vision, knowledge and expertise in all aspects of business management. They will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and be responsible for managing a dedicated team.
The Board is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, motivational and inspirational person with:
- proven commercial acumen, committed leadership and management ability
- management and marketing experience of working in an organisation/business
- Sound experience of financial management and budgetary planning and control.
- An excellent working knowledge of ICT systems.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer care skills and continue to develop “partnership alliances
- Drive and commitment to take the organisation forward.
- A management qualification

The position also incorporates all legislative, Health and Safety, personnel and site management responsibilities.
