Estates Manager - Putney High School

Full Time – 36 hours per week.
All Year round – 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Putney High School is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to play a key role managing the Estates Team.

The Estates Team consists of the Estates Manager, Estates Site Supervisor, three Estates Maintenance Assistants and a Grounds Maintenance & Lettings Assistant who currently have specialised training & experience in plumbing, electrical maintenance, painting and decorating.

The Estates Manager will focus on the management, training, and supervision of the Estates Team. They will be responsible for delegating and managing routine and ad hoc maintenance work, ongoing Health and Safety compliance, site security and lettings and large-scale projects, ensuring these are all managed effectively.

With 7 separate buildings and over 1,300 pupils and staff using the site, the Estates Manager job is fast paced with an ever-changing priority list. The successful candidate will need to be an agile thinker, a strong people manager and well organised to succeed in the role.
