HR Advisor - Paddock School

Paddock School is looking to appoint a self-motivated and hardworking HR Advisor to join the existing HR team.  The post holder will provide dedicated support on a wide range of HR and Recruitment tasks with an interest in developing their Human Resources skills at our outstanding School that strives to Nurture, Inspire and Transform Lives.

Paddock School is a growing, outstanding and innovative split site school in Roehampton and Putney for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties with Autism or severe of complex learning difficulties.  Our thriving community includes a Singing and Signing Choir, a touring theatre group, sports teams and school café open to the local community.  We currently have over 200 pupils on roll with approximately 180 staff.  The school will expand to over 300 pupils with 240+ staff from September 25.  

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources team following a period of rapid expansion and a complete review of our Business and Operations Team.  The successful applicant will report to the Head of Operations and work closely with the senior leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working as part of a busy Human Resources team, ideally gained in a school environment (with SIMS or other school MIS experience), be highly organised and be able to provide HR support and advice in a number of key areas, including performance management, absence monitoring, ER cases, recruitment and retention and training programmes.  Candidates with the equivalent experience gained in the commercial sector are welcome to apply.
