HR Officer - St. John Bosco College

36 hours per week (30 mins lunch break)
Monday to Friday
Term time only including Inset Days + 3 weeks (42 weeks per annum)
Required as soon as possible

The Governors are seeking to appoint an HR Officer to play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the HR function within the school. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate confidentiality in a prior role. You will have a strong desire to develop your HR career and we will support you in your progression.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role and make a real impact on the delivery of a high quality and efficient HR service.

As the HR Officer your key responsibilities will be:

    to undertake recruitment and induction administration

    to ensure new and existing staff appointments are processed accurately and all relevant checks completed

    maintaining employee records and data management using the school’s MIS 

    performing routine payroll administration

    providing HR, Payroll and Pensions advice to staff
