Saint Cecilia’s Church of England School is an academically successful and over-subscribed non-selective secondary school, with an excellent reputation, located in South-West London.
We are seeking to appoint a PA to the Headteacher, to ensure she is fully supported in all aspects of her role.
Whether they are colleagues, pupils or parents, the Headteacher’s PA provides the first point of contact to people from in and outside of the school. This is a role that requires a compassionate, efficient, enthusiastic and organised approach to all tasks. Having prior school experience is not a pre-requisite for this post as we know that capable and talented individuals can learn systems and processes quickly.
The successful applicant will work with passion and pride to fulfil this role, and to ensure effective administrative support delivers capacity and continuous improvement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and highly valued support staff team, that sits at the heart of the school community, and understands that ultimately all roles support and develop young people.
Located close to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club, Saint Cecilia’s is well connected to central London and the West End, as well as the tranquil Surrey countryside, by exceptional transport links. The school lies within the Inner London Weighting area, which adds a significant increase to salary.
In 2019, the school maintained its position as one of the highest performing schools in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The results for 21/22 are equally as impressive.
At GCSE:
• Attainment 8 was 55.1
• 84% of pupils achieved 9-4 grades in both English and Maths
• 61% of pupils achieved 9-5 grades in both English and Maths
At A Level:
• 24% of grades were A*-A
• 50% of grades were A*-B
• 98% of grades were A*-E
• Many leavers gain places at prestigious Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge.
