36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year [TTO plus one]

We wish to appoint an experienced individual to support classroom teachers in their work with SEND students aged between 11 and 18.

You will need to be an excellent communicator, with sound knowledge and comprehension of English and Mathematics for secondary students.  Applicants will have worked with or cared for children in the secondary age group.  

Applicants will need to be appropriately qualified to either degree or HLTA accreditation and to have experience of working with students with special educational needs.

Depending on experience and qualifications, the salary quoted above is for working 36 hours per week for 40 weeks per year. The final salary figure will depend on the agreed contractual number of hours per week and weeks worked per year if different to those figures quoted above. We would also take into account any long service if applicable.
