Marketing & Communications Officer - Ernest Bevin College

The Role

36 hours per week
TTO including INSET Days + 4 weeks
Required: ASAP

Ernest Bevin College, whose students are aged between 11-19, is a vibrant and a truly inclusive all boys college with a mixed sixth form.  Based in Tooting, South West London, our college takes pride in having an exceptional level of pastoral care where all staff are dedicated to giving each and every student both a quality learning experience and the life skills that opens doors to any career path they wish to tread in the future.

Our students, governors and staff are now seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and creative Marketing & Communications Officer who will work as part of a team to deliver internal and external marketing across the college. The successful applicant will also work closely with the School Business Manager to explore income generation through lettings and fundraising opportunities.

We strongly believe that this is a key role within our college which requires someone with demonstrable experience of content creation and social media management for a range of audiences. 

This exciting opportunity will involve the following:

  • producing engaging marketing materials for multiple platforms 
  • innovative digital campaigns 
  • accurate copywriting, proof-reading, and brand awareness 
  • newsletter creation 
  • eye-catching photography and video creation  
  • administration and database management 

The post-holder should have a collaborative working style and a passion for using their skills to continue to successfully raise the college’s profile within the education sector and the wider community.

We feel fortunate that the college is based in a diverse, vibrant and social community which has an excellent variety of transport links and this makes us easily accessible.  Staff also benefit from our onsite facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness studio which can be used outside of the college day.
