Occupational Therapy Team Leader - Linden Lodge School

The Role

 

(Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist)

37.5 hours per week

Full-time, Part-time and Term-time only considered

Required: ASAP

 

Are you looking for an opportunity to lead and shape a ground breaking Occupational Therapy provision?

 

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a supportive and highly motivated team to create a child centred occupational therapy service planned to deliver the best outcomes for sensory impaired children.

 

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a range of needs as well as significant, proven leadership and management experience. You will be managing a team of Occupational Therapists and leading on continuous improvements within our occupational therapy provision. You need to be an excellent communicator, able inspire and motivate staff and build strong working relationships with both students and their families to enable them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

The children and young people within the school have a range of sensory impairments, including deaf-blindness and additional needs including physical disability, and complex medical needs. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about transforming young peoples’ lives, promoting independence and has a desire to develop their career in a Special School setting.

 

Currently we are offering face-to-face therapy sessions within a COVID secure environment as well as delivering a remote service where required.
