Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for children and young people aged 2 to 19 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties and sensory impairment, including visual impairment, deaf-blindness, physical disability, and complex medical needs. The educational needs of the children are met through a variety of pathways including pre-formal, semi-formal and formal curriculums, making this a unique service in terms of its provision.
We are a new and developing therapy team based at Linden Lodge, who aim to build a strong ethos of integrated and evidenced-based working within education, whilst growing our provision beyond the consultative to meet the therapeutic needs of our young people.
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech and Language Therapist to join our therapy leadership team. This is a new and developing service at Linden Lodge School, and there will be ample opportunity to develop your leadership skills across the day to day operational management of the team, as well as inputting into the strategic overview of the integration of therapy within the educational setting.
Alongside other members of the therapy leadership team, the role will include day to day operational management as well as development and maintenance of a fully integrated and high quality multi-disciplinary therapy service. The post holder will provide clinical leadership, supervision (where appropriate) and management of therapy staff. They will promote a culture of continuing professional development responsive to the specialist needs of the children, families and staff of Linden Lodge School. There is a diverse range of clinical specialisms within Linden Lodge School and the post holder will also be a source of expert therapeutic advice and skilled support for all members of the school community.

We have an impressive three-acre campus in Wimbledon offering fabulous indoor and outdoor innovative facilities to support teaching and learning. These include hydrotherapy pool, sensory integration facilities, sensory gardens and a variety of specialised environments.
Knowledge and experience of working with a paediatric caseload and SEND would be an advantage
