The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Pensions Shared Service as a Pensions Officer.  The Pensions Shared Service based in Wandsworth runs the administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme for five London boroughs: Camden, Merton, Richmond, Waltham Forest and Wandsworth.

This is very exciting phase for our service as we transform through a programme of expanding our staffing resources, greater use of automation and emphasis on people development.

Your duties will include calculating pension scheme entitlements. You will also have some checking responsibilities for the work undertaken by the Pensions Assistants.

You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of a defined benefit occupational pension scheme.
