Do you have a passion for improving services WITH young people?

Sound like you? Then we’d LOVE to hear from you.
Participation People believe services work better with young people. We’re looking for a new Programme Manager (Universal Programmes) to help us, help services do that.
Our Universal Programmes provide open, safe and inclusive spaces for all young people to form and express their voice on topics they are interested in. Your role as Programme Manager is to help young people’s voices be listened to, valued and acted upon by decision makers – leading to positive change and service improvements.
Examples include: Youth Councils, Youth Committees, Young Champion Teams and Young Inspector programmes.
We expect a GREAT Programme Manager to be a superb communicator, an excellent relationship and network builder and a kind, supportive and empathetic colleague.
You will lead people and manage programmes. As a confident self-starter, with an eye for detail AND the bigger picture, you will help Participation People take all of our programmes to the next level.
Applicants with strong experience of managing projects (and budgets) with young people, a commitment to Participation People’s mission and approach and experience of project monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting will thrive in this role.
In return for your hard work, we offer a generous holiday entitlement, a competitive salary, a highly flexible working arrangement and the opportunity to work in a small team of like-minded people who care.
We particularly welcome and encourage applications from applicants from black, Asian and ethnic minority backgrounds and from those with disabilities, as we have identified that these groups are currently underrepresented in the organisation, particularly in management roles.
