The Role
Full time [Consideration may be given to suitably experienced part-time candidates]
Required from September 2019
Tooting Primary School opened in September 2013 and was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in June 2015.
Our professional support and career opportunities are simply exceptional. As part of the Graveney Trust (3 local schools) we utilize the amazing resources and expertise of an outstanding secondary school (5 consecutive Outstanding reports).
We wish to appoint an out of class SENDCo with a generous SEN allowance payable to suitably experienced candidates. Applications will be considered for part-time candidates with the required knowledge and experience.
Candidates will need to:
• Have experience of working as a SENDCo and with children with have additional learning needs
• Hold the relevant NASENDCo qualification or be working towards it
• Be committed to continuing professional development
• Be a proactive learner and willing to work collaboratively
• Be committed to working closely with parents/carers
• Enjoy working with children with additional needs and developing relationships with external agencies
