SLP Data and Insight Analyst
Salary: £32,643 to £39,555 per annum (PO2 Scale)

The South London Partnership, a sub regional partnership of five London boroughs is looking for a proactive and experienced quantitative analyst able to provide data driven intelligence and insight to the SLP team and key stakeholders to support the delivery of a wide range of cross borough policy priorities and projects. The post holder will seek out, analyse, interpret and present data on a wide range of topics including economic growth, transport, health and care, skills and employment, sustainability helping to build knowledge and understanding of issues and develop intelligence led proposals and solutions. They will work with a wide range of partners across SLP boroughs and in partner organisations such as the GLA, LGA, TfL, NHS to access and develop the effective use of data.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated data analyst looking to further their career in a public policy environment.
You will be educated to degree level with advanced data analysis skills and experience of working in environment using your data analysis and communication skills to help colleagues understand complex issues and develop solutions. You will have some experience of leading data led projects. You will be able to work independently and flexibly across a range of topic areas and with a number of different people using your effective communication and relationship building skills.
You will work as part of a small team supporting three policy and programme managers and the SLP director to identify issues, scope new areas of work, develop bids and deliver projects. You will be based in the London Borough of Richmond’s offices in Twickenham but will be expected to travel to meetings across the five boroughs and elsewhere in London.

Contract Type: Fixed Term 2 Years, Full Time 36 Hrs

Interview format: The interview will include an analysis based assessment exercise that will be sent to you a few days in advance followed by a 45 minute interview. In the event of a large field a first stage telephone interview may be conducted in advance of the main interview date to assess suitability for second stage interview.
