This is a fixed term appointment until the end of the academic year ending August 2026, in the first instance.

Graveney Trust and the Governors of Tooting Primary School are seeking to appoint an accomplished Teaching Assistant to actively support the teaching and learning in the classroom. 

Candidates will be passionate about working with children and will be able to demonstrate a caring attitude to the individual, personal and social needs of this age group.  Excellent communication, literacy, ICT skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential requirements for these key roles.

You will assist the class teacher in the coordinating of whole class and group lead activities and contribute towards assessment data. You will conduct pupil observations and maintain educational records as well as support the playground and lunchtime arrangements of the pupils.

Applicants ideally, will have experience of working with Primary age children who have additional support needs, skills or training in a particular area of SEND.   

The successful candidate, will benefit from a robust CPD package to support them in contributing to provision and support for pupils.
