Teacher of PE (0.4) - St Mary's CE Primary School

The Role

Required from September 2019, on Mondays and Tuesdays
Permanent

An inspiring and motivational individual is required from September 2019 to teach PE from the Nursery to Year Six as an integral part of the school’s specialist PPA Cover provision (on Mondays and Tuesdays) and to lead the development of the subject across the school, especially the school’s enhanced curriculum, extra-curricular provision and participation in competition.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Physical Education teacher who is:
• highly motivated, with high expectations of children
• passionate about physical activity and sport and be able to inspire pupils, staff and parents
• a team player who has experience of all primary age ranges
• someone who will nurture a love of physical movement in all of our children

St Mary’s CE Primary School is a successful and inclusive Church of England Primary School serving the local community – currently graded outstanding by Ofsted and SIAMS. The school is committed to promoting the health and well-being of its pupils and staff through physical activity. We strive to maximise opportunities for children, young people and all associated with the school to be physically active by promoting all avenues for activity.  This includes the curriculum, environment and wider community.
