Required from January 2020

Graveney Trust and the Governors of Franciscan Primary School are seeking to appoint an accomplished Teaching Assistant to actively support the teaching & learning in the classroom.

Candidates will be passionate about working with children and will be able to demonstrate a caring attitude to the individual, personal and social needs of this age group.  Excellent communication, literacy, ICT skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential requirements for these key roles.

You will assist the class teacher in the coordinating of whole class and group lead activities and contribute towards assessment data. You will conduct pupil observations and maintain educational records as well as support the playground and lunchtime arrangements of the pupils.

You will have:

• Previous experience of working with children
• Excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills
• The passion for promoting a positive and nurturing learning environment for
         our children
• The ability to work flexibly in a supportive team environment
• The ability to support the school with its overall aims and ethos and work within
         its policies effectively
