£12,608 - £13,302 per annum

20 hours per week (Mon - Fri 2.30pm – 6.30pm)  

Term time only (39 weeks)

Required for March 2020

Are you an enthusiastic and caring manager who would like to join our Out of School Care team? Do you have the skills to support the development of our Wrap Around Care?

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and caring staff member to manage our Out of School Care provision – SUNRISE AND SUNSET

You will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
• Provide comprehensive care for the children.
• Provide meals and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
• Be responsible for the administration of Out of School Care records.
• Manage communication with children and their parents.  
• Manage the budget and purchasing and associated record keeping
• Set up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
• Consult with children and involving them in planning activities.
• Provide support and supervision to play workers and other staff, including volunteers.
• Administer first aid when necessary.

It is important to us at Swaffield that the adults contribute to the growth and development of every child and support their individual needs. Previous experience of working with children in the 3-11 age range is essential. A level 3 qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
